Deception Pass

It just never gets old. The family drove up to Deception Pass today, just for the fun of it. We do this at least once a summer, maybe twice. The bridge and the scary look down are not really what draw us to this tourist trap. The second year we lived here in Washington, the mister and I stumbled upon Rosario Beach, a nice sharp right then hang a left before you actually get to the bridge. We had the most romantic picnic of all time. Yep, all time. Think picnic basket, breezy hiking, watching the sunset from a bluff overlooking the Sound, etc. Loverly. Sorry you all missed it, well, not too sorry.
Anyways, that fond memory brings us back every year.

This year we brought the whole family: girls, Grandma and cousin included! A perfect day chillin with my gnomies!

  4. Actually, Bekah, it was surprisingly comfortable. My desire to sleep in sunshine right there was abruptly interupted by climbing two year old on tummy. Ah well!

  6. Good times! Grab some of those rocks and I'll tumble 'em for you. They look like they'll shine up really nice.
