Felt Puzzle Pictures

Most mornings, I think about the day and make a mental plan of what the girls and I will get accomplished. So far, we haven't done a single thing on that list (grocery shopping, craft store stop, etc). But I will tell you what we did do:

1. Bike ride to explore the neighborhood behind the apartments.
2. Reading time alone with Adelaide during Lily's bath, and working on writing the letter "A."
3. Painted and markered pictures of the two American Idol finalist (there's some honesty for you!).
4. Cut out two super cool felt puzzle pictures for the quiet time backpack for church.

I didn't make it to the craft store, so I just used some of the felt I had on hand. None of the pieces are glued, so they can be arranged however you like. I should have snapped some shots of the girls' masterpieces. Hilarious! I am looking forward to seeing how Lily does with them at church on Sunday.

After the girls were finally done playing with these two puzzle pictures, I just rolled them up and put them neatly in a couple of zip-lock bags for Lily's church backpack. That should be a fun new addition!

Hope this Wednesday finds you cheerful in your work wherever you may be!

PS. Lily's interpretation of Philip and Jessica singing on stage.
